The Hare and The Hen craft shop belongs to Helen’s mum, North Norfolk potter Philippa Lee. Since opening in Burnham Deepdale, North Norfolk in 2010, the shop, which is part pottery studio/part craft shop, has become well known with locals and tourists alike. It is a popular destination for everyone with a love of high quality pottery as well as handmade glass, wood, jewellery, prints and a truly vast selection of greetings cards!

Helen and Philippa travel to trade shows and exhibitions throughout the year to hand pick every piece for their shops. They source the best emerging and established artists working in the UK to bring you a wonderful selection of gifts.

Do you love to cook? Philippa Lee's range of functional terracotta earthenware ceramics are safe to use in the oven, microwave, aga and dishwasher. They are full of joy and humour AND they love to be used!

Handmade Tiles

Commission Philippa to make a bespoke tile panel for your home. If you would like to make your kitchen or bathroom truly unique, this could be the answer! Here are some examples of previous orders.
